Is RG3 the new face of NFL draft?

Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III was impressive at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis on Sunday. RG3 had a two-run average of 4.41 seconds in the 40-yard dash. His best time of 4.38 is second only to Michael Vick by a quarterback in Combine history.

INDIANAPOLIS — Robert Griffin III proved he's the fastest quarterback at this year's NFL scouting combine.
But was it enough for Baylor's Heisman Trophy winner to supplant Andrew Luck of Stanford as the No. 1 overall pick?
Most scouts and analysts at Lucas Oil Stadium for the NFL Combine don't believe the former Baylor quarterback's performance was enough to put a new face on the march to the April 26 draft.
RG3, though, sure made for a fun day.
The two finally got a chance to demonstrate their athleticism Sunday when workouts began.
Griffin III showed his speed in the 40-yard dash, finishing officially in 4.41 seconds — the best of any quarterback's two-run average. His individual best time was an electrifying 4.38 seconds, the second-fastest by a quarterback in Combine history behind a 4.33 turned in by Michael Vick in 2001.
Heisman Trophy runner-up Luck's average was 4.67, which was fourth among quarterbacks tested Sunday, and also behind the 4.59 turned in by Cam Newton, the No. 1 overall pick in 2011.
Even so, apparently not much has changed in the rankings.
"I think what was surprising to some people was how athletic Andrew Luck is. I think a lot of people might be surprised to compare his measurables to Cam Newton from a year ago," NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said. "Cam Newton hits you over the head with a sledge hammer as far as his athletic ability; it's pretty obvious, whereas with Andrew Luck, it's sneaky athletic."
His broad jump (10 feet, 4 inches) was two inches short of Newton's at the Combine last year, and Luck's vertical jump (36 inches) was actually better than Newton's (35 inches).
RG3 checked in with a 10-foot broad jump and an impressive 39-inch vertical leap, that was two inches better than runner-up Jacory Harris of Miami.
Griffin III and Luck both skipped Sunday's throwing drills as planned, opting instead to do that with familiar receivers in a familiar environment during their individual Pro Day workouts. And even there the two were in competition.
